Walking in the Pyrenees
Prolonged warm weather in the Pyrenees has meant some of our classic hard walks are now coming into condition. This week saw first outings on the Faja Pelay in the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park and also the Frontier Ridge – a classic, exposed ridge walk right on the border.
The gondola lift in Panticosa opened this Saturday opening up the ‘Rincon del Verde Round’ a spectacular walk under the imposing cliffs of the Sierra de la Tendenera – several groups have already been up and were understandably impressed.
The outdoor pool in Panticosa is now open and proving to be a favourite spot for a cool down in the afternoon – or even for that well deserved rest day!
Thanks for the fantastic photos from the team in Panticosa!
