Today’s Posta Zirm has been 200 years in the making, a project fuelled by the passion of the Kostner family. You are likely to be welcomed personally by the great grandson of the hotel’s founder, Franz, who has impressively upgraded the hotel to keep it one step ahead. The result is a truly gorgeous experience, combining warm hospitality with relaxing self-indulgence. A state of the art health spa and pool ease the muscles that do the work in the mountains, whilst authentic bedrooms ensure your batteries are fully charged for more alpine action the next day.

The Posta Zirm provides fabulously refined cuisine; a mix of traditional and contemporary Mediterranean delights, largely sourced locally and sustainably. You can go hearty or healthy, whilst a good selection of organic, vegan and certified gluten-free products are the norm. As for dinner, every evening is a culinary gem with memorable meals, complimented by local cheeses, desserts and salads, notably the traditional potato salad recipe of Cherubina, Franz’s grandmother! On Sundays, the chef showcases the Alta Badia’s sensational local cuisine at a weekly gala dinner after a complimentary aperitif at the bar.
Guests can also choose to eat in the Taverna.
